Super youtubers to watch

As we are all in lockdown, I’m sure lots of us are bored and struggling with what to do. I thought this was the perfect time to share some of my favourite YouTubers in hope it would give you all something to watch to pass the time. Even if some restrictions have been lifted where you are this might give you something else to enjoy too.

I have chosen 8 YouTubers who I think make some of the best videos. There obviously is a lot more and I have more that I watch but I thought I’d keep it short. I have messaged all of these people on Instagram asking them to tell me their favourite video of theirs and why if they wanted to.

I’m going to start with their name, the link to their channel. Then will follow their favourite video if they have given it to me, the reason behind it and the link. Finally I will give a bit of an overview and my opinion on their channels.

I hope you enjoy.

First up is Tina Wallace an I’m sure most of you will know her by her Instagram which is life_on_the_left_rein.

Tina Wallace – YouTube Channel

Tina’s favourite video of hers, is her vlog all about the NAF 5* BRC National Horse Trials Championships.

I’ve been watching Tina’s videos for years now. I absolutely love Tina’s videos because they are so ‘raw’, they show all the good and the bad. And she doesn’t hide anything, it is really lovely to watch and it makes them more relatable. Tina posts all kind of videos, from eventing vlogs, schooling, hacking, day to day things as well as some non-horsey things too. All her videos are so great and I love watching them.

Flo carter eventing – YouTube Channel

Flo said her favourite video of hers had to be her Swalcliffe event vlog “ because event vlogging is the reason why I decided to start YouTube, I never would have thought it may be my only event vlog in 2020 but in some ways that makes it more special now.”

Flo is a young event rider and I have only found her YouTube quite recently however I love her vlogs, especially her lockdown videos. It’s really interesting to see what other people are getting up to whilst in lockdown and she puts such a fun spin on things.

Riding Remington – YouTube channel

Sophie says her favourite video of hers is her eventing camp vlog. And her reasoning is “That weekend was a highlight for me in 2019, Remmi and I were both massively pushed out of our comfort zone. He exceeded all my expectations and made my heart burst with pride that weekend. The icing on the cake was doing it all with my best friend Linda and her horse Teddy.”

Sophie is actually amazing, the things she has done with Remmi are brilliant. She has such beautiful hacking, it’s so lovely to see the scenery. I also love how honest she is, she includes the good and the bad. She shares tonne of hints and tips too.

Emd eventing – YouTube Channel

Emily said right now she would pick the virtual hack video on Spritey. She did also say that if it was an EmTeeEventures vlog it would have to be the Swalcliffe one.

Emily is just such a genuine and lovely person which comes across in all her vlogs. Her videos are so interesting to watch and her virtual hack video was amazing. It was so fun and relaxing to watch.

Jumping bryan – YouTube channel

Cerys’ favourite video of hers, is her tack up and ride with me as she said she found it the most interesting to film.

I love Cerys’ videos, her facilities are amazing, her horses and incredible, it’s really interesting to see what she does with them and I love how honest she is when talking about her riding or previous rounds. Also her new arena is insane and the drone footage is so cool.

Hannah said her favourite video would probably be "the meadows spring horse series" or "Cavan championship day 2", she said they were days/shows she really enjoyed and its really nice to have to look back on.

I love Hannah's videos, its so fun to watch and I love watching over people compete as there is always so much to learn. Plus Hannah has gone to so may lush venues and her horses are insane!
